On "FOX NFL Sunday," Jay Glazer revealed details of the offer that Howie Roseman made as the Eagles unsuccessfully tried to acquire do-it-all defender Micah Parsons from the Dallas Cowboys.
Glazer said that while the Cowboys hoped to trade Parsons to a team in the AFC, they weren't able to get traction on such a deal. Ultimately, they dealt Parsons to the Green Bay Packers, another NFC contender, for two first-round picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark.
But, according to Glazer, the Eagles made an even more lucrative offer:

The reality here is that the Eagles probably could have offered to trade their entire 2026 draft for Parsons, and the Cowboys weren't going to accept it. That probably would have been true if such a situation emerged a year ago, but certainly after watching the New York Giants get ruthlessly mocked for letting Saquon Barkley leave in free agency for the division-rival Eagles and win both Offensive Player of the Year and a Super Bowl in Year 1, Jones wasn't going to trade Parsons within the NFC East.
There's a good chance that Roseman knew there was no chance the Eagles were actually going to land Parsons, and that factored into the offer. Yes, if the Cowboys agreed, the Eagles probably would have traded two firsts, a third and a fifth, plus more, for Parsons, and then given him a new contract. He's a 26-year-old with 52 1/2 sacks in four years that's on a Hall of Fame trajectory. But Roseman probably knew the Cowboys weren't going to take any deal, so put forward a Godfather offer knowing it would leak and make him look even more like a wheeler and dealer.
