Typos happen.

But holy hell, Bob Nightengale:

Writer Bryce Miller of the San Diego Union-Tribune sadly lost a battle with cancer on Saturday. But, to be extremely clear, Phillies superstar first baseman Bryce Harper is alive and well.

Nightengale, a USA Today columnist and President of the Baseball Writers Association of America, was likely the victim of autocorrect after typing "Bryce Harper" thousands of times over the course of his career. But certain tweets should be double or triple-checked before one smashes that send button.

Those interested can read more about the life of Bryce Miller here.
