Lane Johnson won't be leaving Philadelphia anytime soon.
The longtime anchor on the Eagles' offensive line reworked his contract with the club on Monday, adding a year to his deal and keeping him with the Birds through 2027. ESPN's Adam Schefter was among the first to provide financial details:
Another Eagles’ payday: Five-time All-Pro OT Lane Johnson has reworked his contract to add $8 million dollars over the next two years, and an additional $30 million in guarantees, per his agent Ken Sarnoff from 1 of 1 Agency. Johnson, selected fourth overall by the Birds in the 2013 NFL draft, has long been considered one of the best tackles in the league. He finished fourth at the position in both pass block win rate (94%) and run block win rate (80%) in 2024. Johnson also ranked first among NFL RTs in PFF pass-blocking grade (88.1), pressure percentage (2.2%), and knockdown percentage (0.2%) last season.
He's a six-time Pro Bowler, a five-time All Pro, a two-time first team All Pro... oh, and a two-time Super Bowl champion.
Johnson celebrated his new deal by getting back to work.
