The NFL's legal tampering window will open at 12 p.m. ET on Monday, March 10. At that point, the agents of players who are schedule to become free agents are allowed to speak to interested teams and doing everything but actually put pen to paper.
Still, reports of deals being reached will start to trickle out shortly after noon, even if a contract can't actually be signed until the new league year begins on March 12 at 4 p.m. ET.
Last week, the Eagles re-signed All-Pro linebacker Zack Baun, while reportedly setting cornerback Darius Slay up to be a post-June 1 release. Over The Cap currently estimates that the Eagles have $22.6 million in cap space, although that doesn't yet factor in Baun's 2025 cap number (which is yet to be reported) and the eventual release of Slay. So take that amount of cap space with a grain of salt.
The three most notable free agents that the Eagles have are edge rusher Josh Sweat, defensive tackle Milton Williams and right guard Mekhi Becton, all key piece from the team's Super Bowl LIX victory that could prove difficult to retain.
On the heels of a dominant performance in the Super Bowl, Sweat is reuniting with former defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon in Arizona.
NFL Media's Ian Rapoport says that it's a four-year/$76.4 million deal between Sweat and the Cardinals, which will guarantee him $41 million.
Sweat — a fourth-round pick in 2018 — recorded 43 sacks in seven seasons with the Eagles.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the Eagles are trading Kenny Pickett to the Cleveland Browns for quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson and a fifth-round pick.

Burks is signing a "multi-year deal" to join the Cincinnati Bengals, according to Jordan Schultz of FOX. The linebacker had 41 tackles and two forced fumbles in his lone season with the Eagles.
As noted below, it appeared earlier this afternoon that the Panthers were going to sign Williams.
Instead, he will be joining the New England Patriots, with Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reporting that it's likely to be a four-year/$104 million deal.
Slay won't officially be processed as a release on paper by the Eagles until June 2, but Jordan Schultz of FOX says he's signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
However, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk says that while Slay is in discussions with the Steelers "there's no deal yet." Florio added that "the Eagles also might keep him."
The 34-year-old Slay has spent the last five seasons with the Eagles, making three Pro Bowl appearances over that period.
Another Eagles defender appears to be leaving, as Rodgers is going to sign with Minnesota:
Former Eagles CB Isaiah Rodgers reached agreement on a 2-year $15 million contract with the Minnesota Vikings. The deal includes $8M fully guaranteed. The deal was negotiated by Bryan Gavin and Ed Wasielewski of EMG Sports.
With the expected release of Slay and now the loss of Rodgers, it will be interesting to see how the Eagles build at that position around Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean. Avonte Maddox is also a free agent.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Carolina Panthers are "working to finalize" a deal with Williams:

A third-round pick by the Eagles in the 2021 NFL Draft, Williams had seven tackles for a loss and five sacks this past season. But with Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis also on the roster, it was unlikely the Eagles were going to pay to keep the 25-year-old.
Reddick has signed a one-year, $14 million deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal will guarantee the former Eagles pass rusher $12 million.
The Jets — in Jet fashion — acquired Reddick from the Eagles last offseason and chose not to give him a new contract even though that's why Philadelphia was moving him in the first place. He ultimately played in just 10 games, recording just one sack. But he had 27 sacks in two prior seasons with the Eagles.
