The New York Daily News' Pat Leonard, a NY Giants beat writer, says the team may "take a run at" Eagles free agent defensive back Isaiah Rodgers.

Rodgers, 27, won a Super Bowl and has value as both an outside corner on defense and on special teams, including as a speedy returner.

Rodgers, 27, was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He played in ten games over three seasons with Indy before serving a season-long suspension in 2023 for violating the league's gambling policy.
In 2024, Rodgers started three games for the Birds in place of an injured Darius Slay. Slay, a salary cap casualty this offseason, is reportedly open to rejoining the team at a reduced price. Barring the veteran's return, however, Rodgers would probably have a shot at a starting role in the Eagles' secondary.
23-year-old CB Kelee Ringo, a fourth-round Eagles pick in 2023, will also be in the mix to start outside opposite young phenom Quinyon Mitchell. And the Eagles could consider moving Cooper DeJean, wildly successful in his rookie season as the team's starting nickelback, into a new role.
