Visit Philadelphia, the nonprofit organization that markets the city to tourists, wants to deliver your message to the Birds.
From their website:
Let’s hear it, Philly!
The Philadelphia Eagles are your 2025 NFC Champions and have punched their ticket to New Orleans in pursuit of the second Lombardi Trophy in team history.
We know you’re fired up, so we’re encouraging you to make a Bird Call.
What’s a Bird Call, you ask?
We want you to pick up the phone and leave words of encouragement, hope, well wishes, score predictions and more.
Leave a message for the whole team, your favorite player, the coaching staff, your fellow fans. Sing, scream, cry, chant. We don’t care! We want to hear you in all your Philly fan glory. (We do ask that you keep your message PG if you want us to use it.)
What could possibly go wrong?
The phones can be found at these locations and times on both Monday, January 27 and Tuesday, January 28:
- Dilworth Park, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Mayfair Diner, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Pat’s King of Steaks, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Temple University’s Student Center, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- University of Pennsylvania’s Campus Bookstore, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
A "roving phone," tailed by a video crew, will also circulate through Center City. And Eagles fans can simply call this number from any phone: 267-352-4496.
Wisely, Visit Philadelphia plans to screen all messages before using their favorites in hype videos and other social media posts.
