The 94WIP Morning Show interviewed Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni on Tuesday morning, asking about the status of quarterback Jalen Hurts and cornerback Quinyon Mitchell for Sunday's game against the Commanders.

Sirianni said that the club is "preparing with [Hurts] being the quarterback." The coach added, however, that "you prepare for everything," and that "we'll see [Wednesday] where everybody is and go from there."

The coach was even less forthcoming about rookie quarterback Quinyon Mitchell, repeating that the team will "see Wednesday where everyone is" and that "we're not there yet."

Hurts briefly exited the Birds' win over the Rams after a leg injury. He returned wearing a brace and looked immobile, a sharp contrast to the version of Hurts that ran for a 44-yard touchdown on the Eagles' first offensive possession.

Mitchell left the game during the Rams' first offensive drive and did not return. He did, however, tell The Philadelphia Inquirer's Olivia Reiner that he'll be fine.

Uncertainty about the severity of the players' injuries is likely to linger through the week.
