The Rams sent the Vikings home Monday night with surprising ease. The win earns them a date with the Eagles in the Divisional round of the NFL playoffs. And for the Birds, a rematch against a team they beat handily in the regular season isn’t a bad draw.
Each NFL game is its own creature, of course. The Eagles’ 37-20 victory over the Rams in late November doesn’t ensure a win this Sunday.
But the Birds probably like their chances, considering Saquon Barkley rushed for 255 yards and a pair of touchdowns against LA in Week 12. It’s tough to scheme away that kind of dominance.
