Say what you want about Philadelphia Eagles fans--and many certainly do--but their passion is quantifiably unmatched.
Philadelphia Business Journal reports ($) that Birds fans bought more celebratory merchandise in the first 24 hours after a championship than any other fan base in history, according to data from sports merchandiser Fanatics.
The previous mark was held by Los Angeles Dodgers fans, following their 2024 World Series championship.
Eagles fans are "also on pace to break Fanatics' overall record for Super Bowl champion sales," reports the publication, "which they established in 2018 when [the Eagles] won their first Super Bowl."
ESPN's Tim McManus also reported on the Fanatics data:
According to the Fanatics, the Eagles have set a record for merchandise sales by a Super Bowl champion in the first 24 hours after a title clinch.
The Eagles are also Fanatics’ best-selling champion across all sports for the first 24 hours post-Championship clinch.
Since Sunday's game, Fanatics has sold Eagles championship merchandise to fans in every U.S. state and in more than 60 countries.
