Prediction market app Kalshi announced that it has partnered with Robinhood to offer Super Bowl betting in what is likely to be the start of a sweeping events contract partnership.

On Friday, Kalshi announced it would offer its real-world event markets - things like election betting, news and entertainment markets, and now sports markets - on financial brokerage apps.

By Monday AM, they announced their first partner would be Robinhood.
This means users across the US who have a Robinhood account (25 million of them, btw) can wager on the outcome of the Super Bowl right alongside their stock and crypto holdings.
Today, the betting product won't be nearly as compelling as what DraftKings or FanDuel can offer in legal betting states.
But if you live in states like California or Texas, where online sports betting is not legal, and have a Robinhood account?
WELL, you can wager on the Super Bowl right alongside your DOGE and AAPL holdings.
And just like that, you can now bet on the Super Bowl on Robinhood in all 50 states, legally.

This is just the start. It sounds like Kalshi will soon be offering all of their prediction markets inside Robinhood and other partner brokerages.
In the long run, this might prove to be a much more compelling product than just a sportsbook app.
