"The Showman" is taking his act to the international stage.

Bryce Harper announced Tuesday that he will play for Team USA during the 2026 World Baseball Classic:

Harper had previously committed to playing for Team USA during the 2023 World Baseball Classic, but ultimately wasn't able to do that because he needed Tommy John surgery following the Phillies' run to the 2022 World Series.

While Harper's Phillies teammates Trea Turner and Kyle Schwarber did their best, Team USA ultimately fell to Shohei Ohtani and Team Japan in the WBC Finals.

This time, though, Team USA projects to have a significantly better roster than even what they had three years ago. Among those committed to represent the stars and stripes in 2026 are the aforementioned Schwarber, Aaron Judge, Paul Skenes, Tarik Skubal, Bobby Witt Jr., Cal Raleigh, Gunnar Henderson, Logan Webb and Mason Miller.

Japan, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic will all have formidable squads themselves, but Team USA will likely enter the tournament as the favorites.

The 2026 World Baseball Classic will run from March 5 through March 17.
