Dickerson was unable to put weight on the injured leg Sunday night, and he was eventually carted off the field – although he sat in the passenger seat, as opposed to riding in the back.

Losing Dickerson for any amount of time would be a huge blow to the Eagles' offensive line. Dickerson is coming off of his third consecutive Pro Bowl appearance and is widely regarded as one of the best guards in the NFL.
The Eagles clearly understand his value; in March 2024, they signed Dickerson to a four-year extension worth up to $87 million, making him the highest-paid guard in NFL history at that time.
To make matters worse, Dickerson's backup, Kenyon Green, was also carted off the field three days prior during the Eagles' preseason opener against the Cincinnati Bengals. He suffered a wrist injury while chasing down a defender after a Kyle McCord interception.
There isn't currently a listed third string left guard on the Eagles' official depth chart, but Matt Pryor or Trevor Keegan, the second- and third-string right guards behind Tyler Steen, could potentially shift over to left guard.
On Pattison will provide more updates on the details of Dickerson's injury and his recovery timeline as they become available. They should become clearer in the coming days as Dickerson hears from his additional options and decides how to proceed.
Update: Everybody exhale, because Landon Dickerson has avoided the worst-case scenario. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo shared on X that Landon Dickerson will have "minor knee surgery" in the coming days. Dickerson will be considered week-to-week and will aim to return for the Eagles' season opener against the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 4.
