When Jalen Hurts and the Eagles kick off their 2024 season in Brazil next Friday against the Green Bay Packers, they'll be debuting a new uniform combination.
The Eagles announced in a social media post last Friday that they will wear white tops, black pants and black helmets in Week 1:

Since 2021, the Eagles have mixed in the black pants with the white tops. Previously, they had only worn matching white pants or midnight green pants with the white tops. That's not new. What is new is that the Eagles are now taking their black alternate helmet and putting it with this uniform combination, at least for the season-opener.
This is also noteworthy because it means that the Eagles received clearance to add a third helmet into the rotation for 2024. In 2022, they had worn the black helmets to go with their black alternate uniforms. However, the black helmets weren't worn in 2023, as the Eagles pivoted to Kelly green helmets as their second helmet. The typical midnight green helmets were again worn with the black alternates. This suggests that the black alternate helmets will be back with the black alternate uniforms this season as well.
Meanwhile, Jordan Love and the Packers will wear their classic green jerseys with yellow pants and a yellow helmet in Week 1:

It's worth pointing out that Jeff Kerr of CBS previously reported that green is almost never seen in Corinthians Stadium, which will play home to the Eagles and Packers in Week 1.
"The Eagles-Packers game will be played at Corinthians Arena, which is home to the Brazilian soccer team Corinthians," Kerr wrote. "The biggest rival for Corinthians is Palmeiras, who wear the color green. Corinthians has an informal ban on wearing green, as a former player was actually fined by the club a few years ago for wearing green cleats."
Perhaps it's a good sign for the Eagles — who are two-point favorites — that they aren't the ones wearing green in Corinthians Stadium.
